Cheese and Leek Pie
At the pub there is a man who gives away vegetables. Not just any vegetables however, big ones. (M got one for his music, his wonderful music.) Massive ones ready to be made into weapons. Observe:

A massive leek like this really is just begging to be bathed in cheese and made into a pie. Since the leek was so big, it got sliced thickly and got used as the 'meat' around which the cheese sauce bubbles. I put my stamp on the pie by latticing the top.
you need: pie crust, leeks, milk, cheese (cheddar and gruyere were our choices), garlic, some flour (cornstarch)
-Roll out your crust and pre bake 5 minutes at 350F/170C
-Those thickly slice leeks are sauted lightly with garlic.
-Make the cheese sauce by mixing cheese and milk over low heat.-Add only as much flour as needed to thicken the sauce halfway.
-Place your leeks in a single layer on the crust.
-Pour in the sauce.
-Bake at 350F/170C or until browned and bubbling (crust and sauce respectively).

Holy cripes that's the biggest leek I've ever seen. Great use for it too. Lovely.
